Education Queensland International presents Sydney Adventure Tour

DAY 1: 27th Sept (D)
This morning we fly from Brisbane to Sydney to start our adventure. We are met by our coach and transported to the Blue Mountains. We enjoy a tour of the Three Sisters and the Megalong Valley. There is time to visit the Information Centre and learn about the history of these imposing mountain ranges. We then take a town tour of Katoomba (with lunch at own
expense) and you can visit the Edge Cinema (optional extra) or have a coffee at one of the many cafés. We return for a traditional Australian Roast Dinner tonight.

KATOOMBA DAY 2: 28th Sept (BD)
Today we travel to Katoomba and on arrival at the Katoomba Kiosk we are met by National Park Rangers who will take us on a guided walk of the Blue Mountains Heritage Trail. Your guides will help you to spot the local flora and fauna of this National Park, and you may even spot a koala or two! After an interesting walk you take the Scenic Railway to the top of the
valley and enjoy a well earned rest at the local café (lunch is at own expense). We then travel to Sydney and unpack at our accommdation for the next 4 nights.

SYDNEY DAY 3: 29th Sept (BD)
This morning we visit Sydney Tower the highest point above Sydney for breathtaking 360- degree views of our beautiful harbour city. Enjoy spectacular Sydney views, including the Sydney Harbour Bridge, Sydney Opera House and Sydney Harbour, with free telescopes and guided tour on Observation Deck. We then experience OzTrek, the largest simulated
ride in Australia, that takes you on an amazing virtual reality adventure with a unique integration of 3D holographic technology, animated models and scenic art, sensational surround sound and heart-stopping real-motion seating! We then travel to Sydney Wildlife World home to the largest variety of Australia’s animals under one roof, with over 6,000 animals representing 130 species in the heart of Darling Harbour. We now see Sydney Harbour from the best vantage point, on the water! Take a thrilling, high speed Jet Boat
Ride, with 360 turns, be prepared to get wet! Time to head back to the hostel to relax after an enjoyable and educational day.

SYDNEY DAY 4: 30th Sept (BD)
Time to take a sight seeing tour of Sydney, visiting some of the best known landmarks and beaches. We visit Rose Bay, where you can see who can spot the largest and smallest boat moored at the secluded harbour, then we visit Bondi Beach, where the lifesavers are kept alert on Australia’s busiest beach and Watson Bay. You can take a walk upto the Edge and marvel at the huge cliffs and steep drops down to the ocean. In the distance you can see the
North shores of Sydney and Manly. We return back to the City Centre and walk around the Opera House, the Botanical Gardens and the Rocks before exploring Darling Harbour. First visit the Sydney Aquarium, touch a star fish, watch the sharks and marine life before heading out to the shops around Darling Harbour. You can purchase souveniers or postcards. Return this evening for dinner.

SYDNEY DAY 5: 1st Oct (BD)
Today we catch the train to Circular Quay and then a ferry to Taronga Zoo. On arrival board the bus to the top of the hill where you enter the Zoo and begin your journey around one of Sydney’s famous attractions. As you vist the exhibits, see the animals and listen to the informative animal talks, don’t forget to look across the water to one of the best view’s in
Sydney. We head home later afternoon to Circular Quay and catch a train back to Central
Station.

SYDNEY DAY 6: 2nd Oct (B)
This morning it is time to pack your bags and say farewell to this beautiful city. There may be time to purchase some last minute souveniers before going to the airport and catching your flight home to Brisbane. HOME

The Operator reserves the right to amend the itinerary at any time for any reason. This journey crosses parts of Australia where road, weather and other conditions beyond their control can change without warning. The Coach Captain has the sole right to amend itineraries en route in the interest of passenger comfort and safety of the vehicle for whatever reason, without allowance for refund. Extra costs, if any, resulting there from or from any delay or cancellation are payable by the passenger.

No passenger will be permitted to continue on the tour while their mental or physical condition is, in the opinion of any representative of the Company, such as to render them incapable of caring for themselves or becoming a hazard to other passengers. The Operator will not be responsible for expenses resulting in such person being excluded from completing the journey for any reason.

The price quoted in this brochure has been calculated on fuel prices and other tour related tariffs applicable at 1st Oct 2008 for the period of travel. The Operator reserves the right to increase the price printed on this brochure to cover any significant increase in fuel costs or other related tours tariffs. Passengers are reminded that this is a condition of travel and that any alteration will be notified as soon as possible.

The price also includes admissions and meals as indicated in itinerary. Meals code: B = breakfast; L = lunch; and D = dinner. The Operator may use chartered coaches for which they are not responsible in any way whatsoever. The chartered coaches are of similar standard to those operated by Terra Australis Tours P/L. All baggage is carried at "owner's risk" during the tour and passengers are STRONGLY ADVISED against leaving articles aboard carriers and conveyances while sightseeing.

The Operator reserves the right to cancel the tour. In case of cancellation by the operator ALL monies will be refunded.
